The Lounge + Energy Unfiltered, culturally fluent, and high-trust. Durag & bonnet friendly. Does the coaching style change the service? No. All styles deliver the same high-touch expertise and outcomes—the difference is the environment and energy. Can I switch coaching styles? Yes. Virtually! All services are provided online. You will receive the link to your virtual private session in your booking confirmation.

Yes! A major component of learning to market yourself is body language. We need to be able to see you to effectively train you. If you are camera shy, let us know and we will help you face that fear 😃

If you are unable to be on camera, we can still conduct your private session, but we highly encourage you to use a device with a camera to get the best experience and results from your session.

We can accommodate FaceTime or WhatsApp video, if necessary. For special accommodations, please contact our staff before your scheduled session so we can adequately prepare.

We highly recommend dressing according to the coaching style you chose for your booked session. However, your comfort is more important to us so you can focus on learning. Come as you are and we'll train you on the rest. Durags and bonnets are only allowed in The Lounge.

You can always book a Q&A session if you need more time with your Career Specialist. The Workforce Intelligence Immersion (VIP) includes up to 3 months of access to your Career Specialist and additional discounts toward booking Career Q&A Sessions, if needed.

Option 1: Download a Sponsorship Letter (https://www.betteroddsacademy.com/general-5)to ask someone you know to sponsor you. You or/and your sponsor can complete your booking or purchase online via our site. You will also receive a Thank You letter for your sponsor after your completed session(s) as proof of completion. ​ Option 2: You can purchase the Better Than Basic job guide to better your odds. Our step-by-step guide will help you through your journey from the job market to the workplace. Since we highly recommend utilizing a Career Specialist for the best results and true confidence, the guide also includes $XX in complimentary credits to use toward our private services. To ensure that we can provide you with the best possible service, we kindly ask that you are on time for your scheduled session. If you anticipate running late, contact us soon as possible. We understand life happens and we will be happy to wait for you! ​ However, please note, if you are running more than 10 minutes late for a 30-minute session, 15 minutes late for a 1-hour session, or 25 minutes late for a 2-hour session, we highly recommend rescheduling your appointment to ensure that we can give you the attention and experience you deserve. Once rescheduled, your new appointment cannot be changed. If you need to be rescheduled for a second time, a $25 rescheduling fee will incur.

Step 1: Go to mobile app or online site. Step 2: Access member portal. Step 3: Click View Upcoming Bookings. Step 4: Click on the booking you want to update. Step 5: Click Reschedule. Step 6: Choose desired date and time. Step 7: Confirm selection.

Only a missed session can be deemed cancelled. Due to the nature of our business, cancelled sessions cannot be refunded - all sales are final. However, you do have options! Option 1: Reschedule your session before your scheduled appointment time once without incurring a fee. Option 2: Reschedule your session for a second time incurring a $25 fee. Option 3: Send an e-mail to contact@goboaex.com (mailto:contact@goboaex.com)to request a credit of equal value before your scheduled appointment time. Include your confirmation number in the subject line. Option 4: Take no action before your appointment time. In this instance, your name will be added to our internal Better Odds Angel List. Funds recovered from cancelations will go towards providing services and products to job seekers unable to afford this luxury. We do understand life happens and would love to accommodate you within the parameters of our cancellation policy. Please be mindful that once you book and pay for your session, that time is set aside specifically for you 😃
